What is OpenTDF?

The OpenTDF project is an open source reference implementation of the Trusted Data Format (TDF) specification that enables developers to protect data flowing in and out of their applications. The TDF specification is currently hosted by the Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI). You can read the TDF specification here.

By combining access policy and strong encryption, TDF enables data owners to maintain granular control over their data wherever it travels.
