The US Department of Defense’s security policies require every email to be rendered into plain text format. This enhancement provides a seamless recipient experience for your military collaborators when sending them encrypted emails with Virtru for Gmail. 

How it works: 
When sending encrypted emails to .mil domain users, Virtru replaces our default message with a plain text email. This allows .mil users to seamlessly open the email. 
In the email, .mil users will find a secure link that they can copy and paste into a secure browser, allowing them to view the encrypted message.
